In 2010, The Children's Museum, Seattle plans to add two advisory councils.  We are looking for TCM members, TCM visitors, community members and educators to participate.  Please complete the form below to learn more about serving on these councils.

Family Council: 

The purpose of this 5 person task force will be to look at the Museum's mission to support our families.  We will look at exhibits, programming, membership and annual calendars to make sure we are using our current resources effectively and look for new opportunities.  Our hope is to have a diverse representation on this council, which will meet a minimum of 3 times during the first quarter of 2010, to a maximum of 6 times during the first and second quarters of 2010.

 

Educators Council: 

The purpose of this 5 person task force will be to look at the Museum's mission to support our school communities.  We will look at exhibits, programming and annual calendars to make sure we are using our current resources effectively and look for new opportunities.  This council will focus on improvement to group visits to the Museum.  Our hope is to have a diverse representation on this council, which will meet a minimum of 3 times during the first quarter of 2010, to a maximum of 6 times during the first and second quarters of 2010.
