See It All Sunday (cultural awareness and play)
With exposure to the Seattle Center campus festivities, visitors will experience an added variety of age appropriate and interactive educational opportunities including: cultural programming, dance parties, clubs and more!

Messy Monday (art, senses, and creativity)
Mondays are MESSY at the Museum as we focus on creative art and sensory activities. Children get hands-on as they explore artistic processes and caregivers can participate without anxieties of creating a messy situation in their own home!

Treasure Hunt Tuesday (social and emotional development)
Tuesdays bring out children’s natural curiosity as they transform into mini-explorers. They use creative problem solving and observation skills to discover answers to problems and practice working with their peers, developing their social skills. Caregivers encourage children by giving positive reinforcement (emotional development) during the discovery process and present them with freedoms as they unfold answers on their own, rather than being told them.

Wellness Wednesday (fitness and health)
Our educational mission supports the notion of developing the “whole” child, rather than solely their cognitive abilities. In Wellness Wednesday our programs challenge children’s physical fitness through movement and making healthy choices. Caregivers can learn new and easy ways to get their children moving their bodies rather than participating in static activities, such as TV watching.

Try It! Thursday (imagination and play)
Try it Thursday activities are the core of our child centered ideals. As a museum we ask the children what intrigues them and design activities around these interests. On Thursdays we encourage children to try new instruments, play with textured balls, give dinosaurs a bath and more. TCM also looks for exciting artists and educators to bring to the museum programming that is innovative and fun.

Fact & Fiction Friday (literacy, math & communication)
In Fact and Fiction Friday activities, children and caregivers will be exposed to literacy programs emphasizing that reading can be fun and interactive (self control). Children will display comprehension in reflective hands-on activities and will be asked to immerse themselves in the stories through imaginative play.

Spontaneous Saturday (cultural awareness and play)
With exposure to the Seattle Center campus festivities, visitors will experience an added variety of age appropriate and interactive
educational opportunities including: cultural programming, dance parties, clubs and more!
