Did you know?

Each monorail train can carry 200 passengers per train.

On a normal day, the Monorail makes about 140 trips in a day.

The Monorail is powered by 700 volts of electricity. It uses the same power grid as the electric trolley buses.

It only costs $1 in electrical costs for each trip the monorail makes between Westlake Center and Seattle Center.

The trains can cover the 1 mile distance at a top speed of 50 miles per hour, making it the fastest full-sized monorail system in the country, even today.
