Free Admission Opportunity from a Food Drive

Seattle, WA (November 8, 2011) – The Children’s Museum, Seattle is offering a free admission opportunity to kids who help collect non-perishable food items for the Queen Anne Helpline. Running this program for a 2nd year, the Museum encourages families to use this opportunity to teach about being generous as we move into the holiday season.

On November 21 – 23, 2011, children with a donation of at least 2 non-perishable food items will receive free admission to the Museum. The Museum does require that children are accompanied by a paying adult. (limit of 3 free admission per group) “We are asking the kids to bring at least 2 items, but we hope they will consider bringing more. Our desire to restock the shelves at the Helpline.” says, Executive Director Donna Marie Bertrand.

The Children’s Museum, Seattle is located on the Seattle Center campus on the ground level of the Center House. An expansive play space for children, the Museum is currently featuring a Near and Far Exhibit which uses LEGO® bricks and DUPLO® bricks for learning. On November 25th, they will re-open their Festivals of Light Exhibit which explores a winter festival each week through the eyes of family celebration. More information about these exhibits at the Museum is available at www.thechildrensmuseum.org.
