Medieval Merriment (January 6 - 31)
During Medieval Merriment month we look back to the times of Kings, Princesses and Knights. Join us as we make our own knight shield. We'll learn about how Knights use shields not only to protect themselves but to distinguish who they are.
Heart Hullabaloo (February 1- 29)
Heart health is at the center of this month. We'll keep the focus on Wellness as we participate play some Olympic Games.
Greenhouses (March 1- 30)
March is Green and Gaelic Month at the Museum and the focus of this program is GREEN - greenhouses that is. We'll make our own greenhouses and learn about all the springtime buds and blossoms.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (April 3 - 27)
What can be recycled? What does it mean to reduce? We'll be learning all about recycling and how to turn "trash" into art.
Japanese Fishing Kites (May 1 - 31)
Kites come in many shapes, sizes and are part of many cultures. We'll explore the art of Japanese kite making during our Art of Play Month.
Animal Camouflage (June 1 - 29)
Who's that hiding over there? We'll create and play as we learn about how animals camouflage themselves to stay safe!
