Seattle, WA (June 8, 2012) – The Root Beer Store is bringing a taste of summer to kids at The Children’s Museum, Seattle on Thursday, June 14th. Kids can taste a unique flavor of Root Beer each hour as they learn the science of taste testing. The store is bringing just a few of their over 70 brands of Root Beer including Cinnamon Root Beer, Butterscotch Root Beer and Molasses Root Beer.
With a motto of Whine Less and Smile More, the Root Beer Store’s staff will be on hand to poor samples and talk to kiddos and their parents about Root Beer. As part of the learning around this celebration, kids can also explore carbonation in programs led by the Museum’s Educational staff. Tasting and general programming activities are included with the cost of admission to the Museum.
National Root Beer Day is part of the Museum’s Discovery Days of Summer programs that offer activities for all visitors and special activities for kids enrolled in their half-day and full-day camp program. For more information visit www.thechildrensmuseum.org/summer
