We are proud to open our doors early on several Saturdays throughout the year with our lights dimmed and minimal sounds. In our partnership with Autism Speaks, we have adjusted the Museum's setting to be friendly to those who benefit from a quieter environment.
The Museum opens at 8:30am at a reduced rate of $3.00 for adults and children over the age of one. Tickets must be pre-purchased using the link below and are not available onsite. Pre-purchasing tickets allows us to adjust our staffing requirements to meet the needs of our guests.
Upcoming Sensory Sensitive Hours:
Saturday, January 4, 2014
Saturday, February 8, 2014 (second Saturday)
Saturday, April 5, 2014 ***Please note, Saturday, April 5 is also Seattle Center's World Rhythm Festival. Stage performances in the Armory will begin at 11am, but our neighbors could be warming up and performing drumming sound checks as early as 10am. We hope you will still join us for Sensory Sensitive at 8:30am, but we also wanted to let you know about this specific event at Seattle Center so you could plan your day accordingly.
