Where Imagination Comes Alive. . . in our footy pajamas.

Pajama Day

April 18th is Pajama Day at the Museum so grab your slippers and bring your little one to the Museum - in jammies.  Kids still in their "bedtime bests" earn free admission  - see the restrictions below.

We'll be making popcorn during our Kids Cook program, doing some start gazing and more.  It's an all day Pajama Party!  And, don't forget to think about a bedtime story.  Our Scholastic Book Fair is happening April 12 - 22nd and for every book that is purchase, Scholastic will donate one book to Page Ahead Literacy Programs.

Check out our calendar for more details.

Free Admission Restrictions

To earn free admission, children must obviously be in their jammies.  Children must be accompanied by a paying adult (admission is $8.25).  A limit of 2 free admissions per paying adult will be enforced.  That means if you bring 2 kiddos in jammies to the Museum and you will pay $8.25 for your admission to the Museum.  If you bring 3 kiddos, you will need to pay for yourself AND one of the kiddos.  Kids must be with adults and adults must be with a child 10 or younger to enter the Museum.  And don't forget to grab shoes or slippers, feet must be covered while you are playing in the Museum.

Book Fair Supporting Page Ahead Literacy Programs

From April 12th - April 22nd, we are hosting a Scholastic Book Fair at the Museum.  For every book purchased during the fair, one book will be donated to Page Ahead Literacy Programs.  It's an annual event at the Museum that helps put more books in the hand of our visitors and in the hands of kids in need.

Page Ahead is a non-profit organization with this mission: Guided by the fact that literacy is essential to lifelong success, Page Ahead provides new books and develops reading activities that empower at-risk children.
