Imagination Studio
Make it, Mold it, Paint it, Create it! In this kid-sized art studio, if you can imagine it, you can create it. Stations throughout the studio entice children's imaginations to lead the way as their artistic skills are put to use.

Where did it go? Watch and learn as a maze of lifts, levers and pipes move balls throughout this exhibit. A lesson in cause and effect is fun for everyone!
Go Figure! (Sponsored by Microsoft)
Ever loved a book so much you wanted to jump inside it? Now you can! Step inside the larger than life storybooks like Goldilocks, Arthur's Pet Business, Frog and Toad are Friends, The Quilt and The Doorbell Rang. Each book teaches about numbers and words through hands-on play. You can also bring a book to life by visiting the art table and participating in one of our projects. This summer, our Go Figure! Exhibit will be set up in our Traveling Exhibit space with all 5 books on display!
Global Village
Sail in the USS Sunbacker as you head for an adventure experiencing different cultures from around the world. Visit a tailor shop in Ghana, ride through the Philippines on a tricycle or enjoy some sushi in Japan. Learn more
Mountain Forest
Don your hiking boots and backpack for mountain adventure through Washington's forests. Look under rocks, crawl through a cave and investigate a lava pool as you follow animal tracks up the mountain. Once you've reached the summit, settled in for one of our mountaintop story times!
Discovery Bay
Reserved for our littlest visitors, "the Bay" is designed for toddling and touching! See real fish move about in the aquarium, play peek-a-boo in the seaweed and make waves in our newly renovated water table!
The Neighborhood
Four of our favorite exhibits are located in the Neighborhood - Metropolitan Market Grocery Story, Dunn Lumber Construction Zone, Bijou Theatre, and La Cochina Cacti. Hop a Metro bus or drive our Firetruck to this friendly neighborhood. Learn more
Story Telling Circle
Grab your favorite book and curl up at the base of the tree or climb up into the treehouse! Whether reading on your own or listening to one of our storytellers, books come to life in this cozy exhibit.
