    Seattle, WA (April 15, 2013) – The Seattle Children’s Museum is hosting its fourth annual Dance Around the World event this weekend – April 20 and 21. Local artists and dance groups representing cultures from around the globe will perform, providing both entertaining and interactive programs. This year’s performers are representing China, Africa, India, Peru, Mexico/Latin America, and Hungary.

The Everwonder Children’s Museum was in the planning stages when tragedy hit their town. Their board decided to pull together to open their space much sooner and children’s museums from across the country have stepped in to help.

    Seattle, WA (December 26, 2012) – The Seattle Children’s Museum is once again providing a New Year’s Countdown option that gets the kids in bed on time. Each year the Museum celebrates the arrival of the New Year as it moves around the globe. Starting in India, a toast of fruit juice is raised on the hour while children use noisemakers and instruments to celebrate.
