Friday, June 28th is Root Beer Day at the Museum! As part of our Discovery Days of summer, the Museum has packed each weekday with unique learning experiences. On this “holiday” kiddos can explore the sometime treat of Root Beer. From 11am until 3pm (while supplies last), stop by out tasting station and sample unique root beer flavors – like Wintergreen Root Beer. The tasting table launches learning for kids about how their 5 senses are connected as well as the science of making Root Beer. (Do you know what sarsaparilla root is?)
Head to the art table and watch your kiddo get creative, as they are challenged to think of their own unique flavor.
Budget Blessing!! Because June 28th is the last Friday of the Month, Seattle’s Child is sponsoring admission for kids. You simply need to know the Secret Code released in our newsletter and your kiddo is free when you purchase admission for yourself.
