Frequently Asked Questions about Water Play
What are Water Play Days?
As noted on the calendar, during some camp days, children will have the opportunity to play in International Fountain or participate in other water games. (crowds and weather permitting)
Can my child bring a swimsuit during water play days?
Yes. Your child can bring their suit to change into for water play days at your discretion. Your child will be given time to change prior to event. He/She must change on his/her own with Museum staff standing outside one of the Museum’s bathrooms. Please send a towel to camp with your child as well.
Will the children be playing in the International Fountain on campus?
We’ll decide about playing in International Fountain based on the crowds. If weather permits and the fountain is crowded, we will have our water play in Center Square or in a green space on campus.
Can my child bring water sandals?
Yes, water sandals are allowed and encouraged.
When is sunscreen applied?
Due to skin allergy precautions, the museum does not apply sunscreen. Please apply sunscreen at home prior to arriving.
