Talk Like a Pirate At The Children's Museum, Seattle

Seattle, WA (September 12, 2011) – Grab your eye patch and start practicing your best pirate snarl! The Children’s Museum, Seattle will be celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day on Sunday, September 18 and Monday, September 19 with activities for kids and a free admission opportunity.


On Sunday and Monday, kids and their families can join in Pirate Parades, Pin the Parrot on the Pirate games, and scavenger hunts for gold coins. A few rounds of Musical Island are also scheduled throughout each day for young pirates to enjoy. Additionally, any wee mateys (children 10 and under) dressed as a pirate, will receive free admission to the Museum for the day (Each child must be accompanied by a paying adult.)


The Children’s Museum, Seattle is located on the ground level of the Center House, at the heart of the Seattle Center. The Museum is open 10am to 5pm on weekdays, 10am to 6pm on weekends.
