Donations can be made to The Children's Museum, Seattle for the purchase of specific items.  Are you passionate about early development?  Donate toward improving the water wall in Discovery Bay.  Love to encourage imagination?  Donate toward more costumes for the Theater!

TCM Wish List

Like children preparing a list for Santa, our staff has created their Wish List for the Museum.  Dreaming big and small, we thought through the things that would make our visitors experiences more enjoyable, our tasks more manageable and our Museum a better place to visit.

$25 can buy:

  • Authentic Play Food Items to add to our Global Village.
  • New books for our Story Telling Circle.
  • Waterproof aprons for toddlers at the water wall in Discovery Bay.
  • 100 plastic golf balls for the Cog City Rollercoaster.

$50 can buy:

  • Additional animal costumes for the Mountain.
  • Additional costumes for the Bijou Theatre.
  • Culturally authentic books for Global Village.

$100 can buy:

  • A siren for our Fire Truck in the Neighborhood.
  • Free standing hand sanitizer stations to add to our wall units.
  • Steamers for sanitizing and cleaning costumes (Steaming instead of laundering our costumes will save on wear and tear)

    • A new commercial Vacuum Cleaner.
    • Diaper Genie and refills for our busiest bathrooms.
    • New rice paper siding for the Kobe House.

    • Additional soft play furniture for Discovery Bay.
    • Blocks and organizational furniture for the Architecture Area of Global Village.

    • Platform step for children to reach the sinks in the bathroom.
