The Children’s Museum, Seattle hosts Food Drive

Seattle, WA (November 3, 2010) – The Children’s Museum, Seattle hosting a Food Drive to benefit the Queen Anne Helpline on November 15th thru the 20th. Building on the ideas taught in the Adventures with Clifford the Big Red Dog exhibit, the Museum is hosting Food for Our Friends Week to encourage children to Help Others. Helping Others is one of Clifford’s Big Ideas which support children’s growing understanding that the actions they choose make a difference to themselves and others.
To encourage families to participate, the Museum is offering free admission* to children who bring at least 2 non-perishable food items to the Museum during Food for our Friends Week.
The Children’s Museum, Seattle is located on the lower level of the Center House, at the heart of the Seattle Center. The Museum is open 10am to 5pm on weekdays.
