The Museum is closed  Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.  We also have an extended Labor Day closure from September 4 - 10, 2010.

Museum Policies

These policies are enforced for the safety of all of our visitors.

  • No Adults Admitted or Readmitted without a child
  • Bump and Burn Policy Spill-proof lids required for hot beverages
  • Walking Feet Only  No running or roller shoes
  • No Latex Balloons Mylar balloons allowed

 The Children's Museum, Seattle is a family fun destination! For everyone's safety and enjoyment children must stay with their adult caregivers during their visit to the Museum.

  
 

The Children's Museum, Seattle supports our community by admitting individuals to the Museum FREE of charge if they show one of the following items:


* Quest (EBT) card (WA residents only)
The Quest/EBT card provides free admission for up to 2 adults and their dependent children.


*Medical Coupons (WA residents only)
Medical Coupon cards provide free admission for the individual listed on the card only.

In addition, to these programs, the Museum provides unlimited free admission coupons to over 100 agencies in King, Pierce and Snohomish County. These coupons are distributed to low income or at-risk families who are not eligible for the above listed assistance programs.
