What steps do I need to take to be able to volunteer at the Museum?
- RSVP to attend an Information Session.
- Complete the required paperwork (given out at the Information Session).
- Attend a Training Session.
Can I still volunteer if I am not 18?
Yes, you will need to fill out the Minor Release Form and have your parents or legal guardian sign it. Individuals must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer unless accompanied by an adult guardian that is also an approved volunteer.
What is the time commitment?
Volunteers must be able to commit to a weekly time slot of approximately 4 hours. Time slots are typically set as Morning (9:30am - 1:00pm) and Afternoon (1:00pm - 5:00pm).
What happens if I'm not able to volunteer every week?
We understand that you may need to arrange to miss a week of volunteering occasionally. However, for consistency for our staff and visitors, we ask that you are able to volunteer at the same time each week on a regular basis.
