March – Gaelic and Green

Go green TCM style as we explore the Irish culture!

March 7- Green Oobleck!   Is it a solid?  Is it a liquid? Is it . . . alive?  We are searching for young scientists to investigate green oobleck and its physical properties.  Use your findings to help you invent your own recipe and create oobleck that is one of a kind!

March 14 - Leprechaun Trap!   Are you on a leprechaun hunt in search of a pot of gold?  Well, join our Young Inventors Club this week as we invent a leprechaun trap.

March 21 - Rainbow Optics!  Explore light and optics as we experiment with rainbows and invent our own optical devices.

Young Inventors Club

What is Young Inventors Club?

YIC an interactive, hands-on program for children ages 5 - 10 and their lab assistant (parent!).   During the 45 minutes program, children will do experiments, learn about cause and effect, test their theories and more.

Who can attend?

Children ages 5- 10 and their caregiver.  YIC is open for members and non-members and is included with the cost of admission.  Children under the age of 5 will not be allowed to attend due to choking hazards and experiments.

Do I have to RSVP?

RSVPs are not required but recommended for this program.  Space is limited so holding a spot in the class is recommended.

Do we have to attend every week?

No, each class is an individual experiment.  Each month follows a theme that connects the experiments.
