Bumbershoot, North America's largest urban arts festival, is sponsoring a preview event at the Museum. This month we are welcoming Mark Pickerel!!

Mark’s performance is literally kid-approved as his five-year-old daughter Hazel regularly puts dad’s entertainment skills to the test. With guitar in hand, Mark will lead the group in songs both new and old, and dancing along is always allowed.

The performance starts at 11am and is free with admission to the Museum.

Did you know that kids 10 and under receive free admission to Bumbershoot?

We will once again be curating the Kids Zone of Bumbershoot, expanding the great kid friendly programming happening at the festival on August 31- September 2. Stop by to see Museum favorites such as Ocheami and Music with Nathan as well as our friends from STG Presents, Pacific Science Center and Evergreen Ballet.  Click here to see all the details.

About Mark Pickerel

Seattle troubadour Mark Pickerel’s rich baritone is as distinctive as his trademark pompadour, and both exude a sense of timeless style and composure. His songs exude an effortless, twang-infused flair.
