Where Imagination Comes Alive . . . Through Generosity!
As a non-profit organization, the Seattle Children’s Museum depends on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations to bring imagination to life for our visitors. We open our doors 357 days a year providing a place for families to play, learn and explore together.
We are located on the Seattle Center campus, however, we are a separate 501c3 organization. Our budget relies on approximately 40% in contributions that span from individual giving, grants and a wide variety of in-kind donations of supplies and services.
It is because of those who give that we are able to:
- Open our doors free of charge to low-income families.
- Welcome local artists and performers in to the Museum.
- Provide a safe, clean and educational place for children 10 months to 10 years and their families.
