Every March we celebrate the founding of this cornerstone of learning, and this year we celebrated 40 years of serving kids in our community! Nearly 120 guests explored education demos and new exhibits, tested their dexterity at the wine ring toss, enjoyed a performance and workshop with Polynesian dancers Huraiti Mana, won big in the live auction and raffle, and hammed it up in the photo booth while enjoying appetizers and libations!
A huge thanks to 80+ local organizations whose In-Kind donations made our live auction and raffle shine!
Proceeds from this annual fundraiser benefit museum programming, exhibits, and increased access for underserved communities.

Please join us for this annual fundraising event that brings together our community of donors, stakeholders, and volunteers to provide support for our mission!
Last year, nearly 140 guests joined us in Fisher Pavilion for a catered breakfast spread, mimosas, and guest speakers including Former Washington Governor Christine Gregoire, State Representative Noel Frame, and King County Executive Dow Constantine. We also heard from SCM staff and parent advocates about the importance of early childhood education and why they support the museum.
All proceeds from the Fall Breakfast benefit our exhibits and programs, including Passport 2 Play, which ensures museum access for low-income families.
