We are accepting proposals for programs and artistic performances throughout the year.  We strive to provide a variety of daily programs that are targeted to specific age ranges and provide informal learning opportunities to children and their caregivers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can respond to the RFP?

We welcome responses from educators, artists, performers, and others who believe they have an interactive program or activity that would be enjoyable and educational for kids 10 and under and their caregivers.  The Museum does give priority to individuals from within Washington State while still welcoming traveling groups and organizations.

What is involved in the RFP process?

The RFP asks for personal background information, details about your program idea, and details about you.  The form is sent to our educational evaluation team who will contact you if the program is a good match for the Museum.

What is the deadline for submissions?

The Museum accepts proposals throughout the year.

How often would I get to teach/perform at the Museum?

If your proposal is selected, the number of performances or programs would be determined by the needs of the Museum as well as the depth and variety of your program.

May I submit more than one proposal?

I'm not an educator, can I still submit an idea?

Yes! The Museum is looking for great programs from people who are familiar working with children ages 10 months to 10 years old and their families.  A formal educational background is not required.
