Leap into Science-Balance!

Calling all preschoolers, pre-K, their parents and caregivers! Join us for an evening bringing science concepts to life through integrating stories and open-ended inquiry-based challenges. We’ll explore concepts of balance, mass, levers and fulcrums using our bodies and simple materials.

  • Ever wonder how a tightrope walker keeps their balance?
  • Can you create a better balanced toy?

Leap into Science is a nation-wide program, brought to you through a collaboration with the Franklin Institute. The Seattle Children’s Museum promotes the joy of discovery through facilitated open-ended, inquiry-based exploration, within an intentionally designed informal learning environment. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
